Clive, IA · Demo Build
One hub for the work between the calls. Click anything. Break it. Tell us what is wrong.
Version 0.9
Sample data
Not connected to anything live
This is not the finished thing. It is a set of drawings you can click. Nothing here talks to Aladtec, Vector, ImageTrend, or Westcom yet. Every name, unit number, and task is invented. Swap them for real ones and it will feel very different.
What we need from you is not that it looks good. We need that is wrong, that is missing, and we would never use that. Every screen below is a decision that has not been locked.
If you only have three minutes, do the tour below in order. That is the whole product. If that loop is right, the rest is detail. If it is wrong, everything else is wrong too.
/demo/dashboard
Open the Command Dashboard. Find E-320 in the Fleet strip at the bottom and click it. This is the screen that stays open on your monitor all day.
02/demo/brief
Your change is sitting at the top of the Brief. Nobody had to notice a tile changed color. Acknowledge it and it is gone. An empty Brief means you are up to speed.
03/demo/crew
That is Lt. Whitfield's screen. Same dashboard, same tiles, same abilities. The only thing he does not get is the Admin group in the sidebar. That is the entire difference.
Command
/demo/dashboard
"Where is everything?"
Everything on one screen, sized to fill a monitor without scrolling. The Brief, tasks, roster, fleet, ISO hours, and links out to everything else you run.
/demo/brief
"What changed while I was off?"
Your idea, built. Anything that changes anywhere lands here and stays until you acknowledge it. The second panel is the part to argue with: it decides what is allowed to interrupt you.
/demo/tasks
"Who owes me what, and did it actually get done?"
Assign to a person, a shift, or a company. Done and Verified are two different states, because the gap between them is where work has been dying at shift change.
/demo/my-tasks
"What do I owe, today and this year?"
Private. Nobody else sees it. Work other people assign you shows in a separate panel so it never silently mixes into your own list.
The department
/demo/fleet
"What is out of service right now?"
Your E-320 example, exactly as you described it. Click a unit, status flips, and the change posts to everyone's Brief.
/demo/roster
"Who is working, and on what?"
Read only, pulled from Aladtec. RollCall does not schedule anybody. This is how a task can go to A-Shift and still reach whoever is actually riding today.
/demo/training
"Are we going to lose points at the next review?"
Hours against the ISO targets. Vector already holds these numbers, it just never puts them in front of you. Officer hours are behind in this mockup on purpose.
/demo/policies
"Did anyone actually read it?"
Publishing drops the policy into the Brief of every member. They acknowledge individually, with a timestamp. You get a name by name list of who has not.
/demo/pass-along
"Does everyone know about the road closure?"
Notices that go to every member and stay up until they expire or someone kills them. Posting one lands in everybody's Brief.
/demo/maintenance
"What is broken and who is on it?"
Open loops. A fog nozzle off E-320, a bay door sensor acting up. Items sit here until they are resolved, then they clear.
/demo/calls
"How busy were we?"
Run volume by period and type. This is the one tile that needs data from ImageTrend or Westcom, so it is sample numbers for now.
Displays and setup
/demo/tv
"What do the crews see in the bay?"
Point a station display at this URL and it boots straight in, no login. The shift is the account, so the board follows whoever is on. Hit Simulate Dispatch in the top bar for the turnout takeover.
/demo/admin
"Who is in the system, and what shows where?"
Accounts, roles, shift accounts, the quick links you launch from, and which tiles land on each StationView. Only you and the A/Cs see this screen.
